Job description
Microsoft is hiring an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) for the Industrial Sector to act as a virtual CTO and trusted advisor to major clients in manufacturing, energy, power, and utilities across Saudi Arabia. The ATS will synthesize industry and business insights, orchestrate global teams, and guide customers through digital transformation journeys. This role involves shaping long-term technology strategies, driving AI and Industrial Metaverse adoption, creating roadmaps, and ensuring alignment between customer needs and Microsoftâs solutions.

Key responsibilities
- Lead technology strategy and digital transformation planning for strategic accounts
- Act as a virtual CTO, providing thought leadership and mapping Microsoft technologies to customer business goals
- Develop multi-horizon technical and business roadmaps for large-scale clients
- Identify opportunities, initiate demand generation, and drive pipeline growth
- Partner with senior executives and C-level stakeholders to showcase Microsoftâs differentiated value
- Deliver industry briefings, workshops, and technical sessions to senior decision-makers
- Drive AI, cloud, and Industrial Metaverse adoption strategies
- Ensure compliance, security, and risk management alignment with Microsoft frameworks
- Coach peers and share best practices across the region
- Represent Microsoft in industry events, conferences, and strategic wins
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Extensive experience in manufacturing, energy, power, or utilities
- Proven expertise in digital transformation and technology-driven business outcomes
- Strong consultative selling, technical consulting, or business consulting background
- Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and line-of-business leaders
- Strong account planning, forecasting, and execution capabilities
- Deep understanding of AI, cloud, and Industrial Metaverse technologies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English; Arabic is highly advantageous
