Job description
The Store Supervisor - Luxury Retail role at Minimalist.ae in Abu Dhabi is a senior on-site retail leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations, sales performance, and customer experience of a luxury store specializing in watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods. The role focuses on driving commercial performance through active floor management, ensuring optimal sales conversion rates, average transaction value (ATV), and units per transaction (UPT), while maintaining premium brand standards. The Store Supervisor is responsible for full store operational control, including opening and closing procedures, staffing coordination, inventory management, pricing accuracy, stock movement tracking, and documentation. A key aspect of the role is maintaining visual merchandising excellence and ensuring consistent luxury store presentation aligned with brand identity. The position requires direct engagement with customers, including VIP clients, ensuring a personalized and high-end retail experience based on relationship building rather than transactional selling. The Store Supervisor also manages team performance, including scheduling, task allocation, coaching, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Additional responsibilities include onboarding and training new employees, reinforcing sales techniques, identifying skill gaps, and supporting continuous team development. The role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced luxury retail environment within the UAE market.

- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and floor supervision in a luxury retail environment
- Drive store sales performance by managing conversion rates, ATV, UPT, and overall revenue targets
- Ensure accurate stock management including inventory control, stock availability, pricing accuracy, and documentation
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation in line with luxury brand guidelines
- Manage customer experience on the sales floor by engaging directly with clients and leading by example
- Handle VIP customers and resolve complex customer service situations professionally and effectively
- Supervise and manage store team scheduling, task allocation, and daily performance management
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and address employee performance issues promptly
- Lead onboarding and training of new employees while reinforcing sales techniques and service standards
- Monitor stock discrepancies, investigate issues, and ensure strong loss prevention practices
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail store management within luxury, watches, or jewelry sectors in the UAE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to supervise retail staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
- Strong understanding of luxury retail operations, customer experience, and sales performance KPIs
- Experience in inventory management, stock control, and loss prevention processes
- Ability to manage high-pressure retail environments and deliver consistent sales results
- Experience in training, coaching, and developing retail sales teams
- Strong organizational and operational planning skills in a fast-paced store environment
