Job description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist ā Allied Health at American Hospital Dubai is responsible for executing full-cycle recruitment processes for Allied Medical, Administrative, and Support Services divisions. The role involves sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews, preparing job offers, and supporting the onboarding process while ensuring alignment with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations. The specialist will liaise with department heads to forecast recruitment needs and ensure hiring timelines meet organizational benchmarks.

Key responsibilities
- Liaise with department directors/heads to identify specific recruitment and selection requirements
- Carry out recruitment for Allied Medical, Admin and Support Services divisions
- Source CVs for budgeted positions as per Management System for Records (MSR)
- Post jobs on Internal Website, LinkedIn, and other registered job portals
- Screen CVs according to AHD/DHA requirements through cold calling
- Conduct networking by communicating with applicants and seeking references
- Conduct initial applicant screening before forwarding to department heads
- Update person profiles and communicate with department heads and employees
- Arrange interviews for shortlisted applicants
- Send interview reminders to candidates and department heads
- Coordinate and participate in interviewing and selection processes
- Ensure iFusion requests and interview documentation are completed
- Prepare job offers, clarify queries, and facilitate entry of new employees
- Release offers and brief candidates on pre-employment medicals and DHA process
- Ensure all required documentation is collected from selected candidates
- Hand over files to the onboarding team
- Provide justification for difficult-to-fill vacancies and salary deviations
- Follow up on documentation and respond to candidate inquiries
- Provide new joiner list to HR training department for orientation enrollment
- Submit monthly reports to the CHRO, highlighting concerns
- Ensure recruitment turnaround time meets established benchmarks
Experience & skills
- BA degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, especially within healthcare or hospital settings
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) requirements for clinical staff
- Ability to perform cold calling for screening candidates
- Experience in using online recruitment portals such as LinkedIn and internal HR systems like iFusion
- Familiarity with documentation required for healthcare professional onboarding in the UAE
- Strong organizational skills for managing interview coordination, job offers, and onboarding procedures
- Ability to work closely with department heads to forecast hiring needs and fill vacancies effectively
- Competence in preparing recruitment reports and tracking KPIs such as time-to-hire
- Understanding of local UAE labor laws and healthcare hiring regulations
- Excellent English communication skillsāspoken and written
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) and data management systems
- Strong attention to detail for managing candidate files and compliance documentation
- Capability to justify salary deviations and manage challenging recruitment scenarios
- Experience in handling high-volume recruitment across multiple functions like medical, admin, and support services
