Job description
Cisco’s MEA-TRC Cloud + AI Infrastructure team is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join its dynamic sales force in Dubai. The role is pivotal to driving the adoption of Cisco’s data center compute and networking solutions across the Gulf cluster. This senior position demands deep technical knowledge and a consultative sales approach to position Cisco’s Cloud and AI portfolio effectively against competitors. The successful candidate will support the broader Cisco field sales efforts and participate in pre-sales engineering activities such as solution demonstrations and architecture workshops. The role is part of a high-impact team working to facilitate customer transformation and scale strategic growth in data center and compute technologies.

Key responsibilities
- Drive adoption of Cisco’s Cloud and AI infrastructure solutions across various customer industries in the Gulf region.
- Facilitate Cisco Field Sales teams in selling compute and networking offerings.
- Deliver solution presentations and participate in architecture workshops and PoCs.
- Help position Cisco's solutions against competing technologies in the market.
- Engage in pre-sales technical activities, including workshops and architectural design.
- Contribute to sales planning and strategy activation for Cloud & AI Infrastructure.
- Develop strong relationships with technical communities and customers.
- Understand data center enterprise applications and toolsets.
- Lead engagements from ideation to successful closing of deals.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge in Data Center compute, storage, networking and automation tools.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in data center sales, compute, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Data Center Networking, Storage, Compute, Converged and Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Data Center architectural designs.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and operational toolsets.
- Proven track record in DC Networking / Compute technical sales engagements.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, ACI, MDS, Nexus Dashboard, UCS, and Intersight.
- Ability to design Converged and HCI infrastructure solutions.
- Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell.
- Understanding of NSX SDDC, Arista VXLAN EVPN, containers, and orchestration platforms.
- Familiarity with AI platforms like Nvidia and AMD.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data protection solutions.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or VMware are preferred.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and presentation skills.
