Job description
Binance is seeking a MENA Financial Accountant to join its global blockchain ecosystem. The role involves preparing accurate financial and regulatory reports, managing audits, overseeing tax filings, and supporting budgeting processes across the MENA region. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to provide insights into financial performance, trends, and variances
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, including preparing and submitting reports to regulatory authorities, including FATCA/CRS
- Oversee the reconciliation process for all financial accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly
- Prepare and file all VAT and Corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support to facilitate a smooth and timely audit process
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate financial projections and analysis to support business decisions
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of strong internal controls over financial reporting and operations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including accounting, tax, legal, and operations to support business goals and objectives
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CFA qualification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis
- Strong understanding of IFRS reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance
- Proficient in financial software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
