Job description
The Director of Human Capital for Jumeirah Zabeel Saray leads HR strategy, workforce planning, organizational development, and talent initiatives within a luxury hospitality environment at a flagship beachside resort on Palm Jumeirah. The role oversees HR team leadership, capability development, alignment with regional HR strategy, and the implementation of best practices across all people-related functions. Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, leadership development, productivity enhancement, full-cycle recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, HR budgeting, P&L monitoring, strategic resource allocation, compliance with UAE labor laws, and adherence to internal HR policies and standards. The position champions colleague well-being, communication quality, and service excellence while maintaining workplace culture and readiness for future growth. Advanced Microsoft Office competencies and professional HR certificationsâincluding British Psychological Society Level A and Bâare required, along with proven experience in strategic HR planning, implementation, and leadership within hospitality or relevant sectors.

Experience & skills
- 8â10 years of experience in HR leadership roles with strategic HR planning and implementation experience.
- Bachelorâs Degree in Human Resources, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications or certifications in Human Resources Management.
- MBA or postgraduate education in a relevant discipline.
- Level A and B qualified with the British Psychological Society.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
