Job description
Inward remittances arriving at Mashreq are processed through the bank's Inward Remittances Centre, part of Payment Operations within the Operations Group. This Officer role sits in that centre and works from the office full time in the UAE. Day to day, the work involves checking incoming payment instructions, crediting beneficiary accounts accurately and handling queries on funds received. Payments that fail validation or need repair come to you for investigation and follow-up. Compliance checks matter at every step, since inward funds must be screened in line with the bank's AML and sanctions procedures. Cut-off times and service standards shape the rhythm of each day. Close coordination with branches, correspondent banks and other operations teams keeps exceptions moving. Experience in bank payment operations, particularly remittance processing, will help you settle in quickly.
