Job description
PwC Middle East is hiring a Senior Manager within the Energy, Resources & Sustainability (ERS) practice for its Dubai office. This role focuses on delivering high-impact strategy and transformation consulting services to clients in the Power and Water sectors. The Senior Manager will lead cross-functional teams, design and implement business transformation initiatives, and contribute to business development efforts through proposal writing and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategy and operations engagements, including current state assessment and future state design
- Guide cross-functional internal and client teams across transformation initiatives
- Develop personal and industry knowledge in Power and Water to help shape client strategy
- Present and write winning proposals related to operational improvement, quality and cost optimization
- Support development of standardized processes and procedures for clients
- Communicate solutions and strategies through technical reports and presentations
- Collaborate with teams across Middle Eastern offices and international teams
- Stay up to date with industry trends in the region and globally
- Mentor junior team members to foster high performance
- Contribute to thought leadership and innovation within the ERS practice
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in utility sector or 6–8 years in management consulting for Power and Water sectors
- In-depth understanding of utility business and value chain
- Knowledge of energy policies in the Middle East and globally
- Understanding of supply-demand dynamics in Power and Water
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills under tight deadlines
- IT proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel within the Middle East and internationally
- Experience in data gathering, analysis, and insight reporting
- Ability to evaluate and manage unique client challenges for return on investment
