The role involves sourcing new-to-bank customers, generating business leads, managing customer relationships, and up-selling/cross-selling the bank’s full range of products. The incumbent ensures the quality and soundness of the portfolio, adherence to bank policies, and compliance with KYC/AML regulations. Responsibilities include improving share of wallet and establishing the bank as the primary banking partner, enhancing revenue from existing borrowing and non-borrowing accounts, screening the market for NTB opportunities, and assuming full ownership of the managed portfolio. The role includes conducting periodic credit facility reviews, recommending appropriate credit facilities, identifying candidates for upgrades or downgrades, and ensuring timely delivery of banking services and products. The incumbent maintains control over documentation, client visits, call reports, stock inspections, formal credit checks, and informal market feedback, while liaising with internal and external advisors to ensure agreement accuracy. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and developing Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) for career progression, coordinating with internal business units and risk management teams, and ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
