Job description
The PR & Influence Assistant Manager role in Dubai within the Corporate Marketing team is responsible for supporting the execution of public relations and social media activities across GCC markets for Samsung Gulf. The position operates under the guidance of the Senior PR Manager and focuses on coordinating PR initiatives, supporting media engagement, and implementing communication plans aligned with the annual marketing calendar. The role involves preparing press materials such as press releases, media kits, and interview briefs, while collaborating with internal teams to develop PR and social storytelling content. It includes managing media relationships, supporting influencer engagement activities, assisting in event execution such as press events and product launches, and ensuring consistent brand communication aligned with corporate guidelines. The role also requires monitoring media and social coverage, preparing reports on brand exposure and public sentiment, supporting crisis communication preparation, and assisting with administrative tasks such as budget tracking and agency coordination. The position demands strong communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-market environment.

Key responsibilities
- Support execution of day-to-day public relations, media relations, and social media activities across GCC markets in alignment with campaign objectives and corporate marketing strategy
- Coordinate media outreach activities by preparing press releases, media kits, interview briefs, and other communication materials to support PR campaigns and brand messaging
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content inputs and support development of PR storytelling, social media content, and integrated communication campaigns
- Assist in managing relationships with media partners, PR agencies, influencers, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and campaign delivery
- Support planning and execution of press events, product launches, media briefings, and other public relations engagements across regional markets
- Monitor traditional and digital media coverage as well as social media sentiment, and prepare analytical reports on brand visibility, engagement, and public perception
- Assist in crisis communication preparation by coordinating internal approvals, ensuring message alignment, and supporting timely communication responses
- Ensure all PR, media, and social media activities comply with corporate brand guidelines, tone of voice standards, and communication policies
- Support administrative PR functions including budget tracking, agency coordination, reporting, and operational follow-ups to ensure smooth campaign execution
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 5–7 years of experience in public relations, either within a PR agency or corporate communications environment
- Exhibit at least 2 years of experience working in a reputable PR agency with exposure to media relations and campaign execution
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field from an accredited university
- Demonstrate strong understanding of public relations, media relations, and corporate communications principles and practices
- Exhibit experience in influencer management and familiarity with social media trends, platforms, and digital engagement strategies
- Demonstrate excellent writing and content development skills for press materials, media communications, and storytelling initiatives
- Exhibit strong coordination, stakeholder management, and project management skills in fast-paced, multi-campaign environments
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in both English and Arabic with ability to engage diverse stakeholders across GCC markets
