Riyadh's Metro infrastructure programme generates a constant stream of technical drawings and spatial data, and this role sits inside the Project Management and Construction Management team keeping all of it accurate and usable. You develop and maintain CAD models and technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and similar industry-standard software, built to support metro infrastructure at every stage. Spatial analysis and detailed GIS mapping feed directly into planning, design and decision-making processes across the programme. Project data gets managed and organized to strict technical standards, checked for accuracy and consistency before it reaches anyone downstream. Engineering, project management and construction teams all coordinate through this position to turn design requirements into precise technical documentation. Junior CAD/GIS technicians receive mentoring and technical guidance here too, with quality standards maintained across the wider team as a result. Quality assurance reviews catch discrepancies in drawings and GIS data before they become bigger problems on site. Cross-functional collaboration ties CAD and GIS data together for project visualization, while documentation and reporting keep the whole programme trackable and compliant.
