Job description
The Senior Director ā Private Banking at Emirates NBD manages a team overseeing a minimum portfolio of AED 5.0 billion that generates at least AED 20 million in revenue. The role includes guiding team members to achieve growth targets while directly supporting critical client relationships and retaining a reduced number of own clients to focus on high-volume relationships. Responsibilities involve exploring investment opportunities aligned with client risk appetite, conducting quarterly account reviews with assigned Investment Advisors for accounts above threshold levels, and producing investment proposals based on these reviews. The role entails cross-referring clients to other bank business units such as Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and others in accordance with KPI scorecards. Additional duties include coaching Relationship Managers, monitoring their performance, ensuring professional development, and liaising with the Investments team to enhance and develop new products. The position requires an MBA in Finance or a bachelorās degree, CFA or equivalent qualifications, a minimum of 8 years of financial services experience, at least 3 years in Middle Eastern markets, initial managerial experience leading junior staff, strong knowledge of assets and liabilities products, capital markets, portfolio management and investment products, full understanding of compliance, due diligence and anti-money laundering regulations, and general understanding of legal structures such as offshore entities and trusts.

Experience & skills
- Hold an MBA in Finance or a bachelorās degree
- Possess CFA or equivalent financial services qualifications
- Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial services
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Middle Eastern markets
- Possess first managerial experience in leading 1ā2 juniors or assistants
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of assets and liabilities products, capital markets, portfolio management and investment products
- Have full understanding of compliance, due diligence and anti-money laundering acts and standard banking procedures
- Possess a general understanding of legal structures such as offshore entities and trusts
