The Senior Manager – Solution Engineering leads the design and articulation of enterprise AI solutions at Inception, a G42 company. Reporting to the SVP – Growth, the role bridges technical and commercial functions and works across pre-sales, architecture and product teams to ensure AI offerings are scalable, tailored and aligned with customer goals. It involves hands-on creation of solution architectures, participation in technical discovery sessions, translation of complex AI features into simple commercial narratives, and support for RFPs, workshops and proofs-of-concept. The role requires acting as a trusted technical advisor during strategic customer engagements, collaborating with business development and commercial teams, and delivering high-impact demos, technical briefings and solution presentations. It works closely with product managers, engineering leads and applied science teams to validate feasibility, scalability and performance of proposed AI solutions and ensures smooth knowledge transfer to delivery teams. It includes developing reusable templates, design patterns, documentation, playbooks and KPIs to scale the solution engineering function. It requires strong experience in solution engineering, technical pre-sales or enterprise architecture roles, the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders, familiarity with cloud-native platforms, AI/ML infrastructure and enterprise integration patterns, and a collaborative customer-first mindset. A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required with a master’s preferred. The role requires 14+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture or consulting roles in AI, cloud or SaaS environments, hands-on experience designing large-scale enterprise or AI-based solutions, experience supporting full solution lifecycles and experience with AI/ML solution design and cloud platform architectures such as Azure, AWS or GCP. Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect or TOGAF are advantageous.
