Job description
The PMC Engineering group on Worley's ADNOC work in Abu Dhabi reports day to day to this Senior Project Engineer, who also oversees the Contractor through Engineering and Procurement. Discipline mix and team size must match what the PMC Contract requires, and every engineer needs to be competent for their scope. Design reviews weigh constructability, testability, operability, maintainability, safety, fire protection and material selection. Vendor documents pass through orderly technical review, and Owner approval of the engineering design is secured in line with the Contract. Piping, Mechanical, Structural, E&I and specialist disciplines interface through you. Where progress slips at Contractor Home Offices, you provide independent advice on recovery plans and risk. Technical bid evaluations, clarifications and recommendations also fall to you, along with incorporating field-requested changes into deliverables. Team development matters, from competence and performance assessments to succession planning for key roles. Candidates need an engineering degree and 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals, at least 3 in a similar role on major international projects, plus FEED, EPC, PMC, Offshore and ADNOC experience.
