Job description
The HR Process Excellence & AI Adoption Manager at Etihad Airways is responsible for standardizing and optimizing HR processes using AI and intelligent automation. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role requires leadership in process reengineering, AI-driven solution implementation, and continuous improvement to enhance service delivery, cost efficiency, and user experience. This role involves defining and governing the HR process framework, deploying optimized digital tools, partnering with stakeholders to ensure compliance, and co-creating solutions with IT and Data teams. Responsibilities include advising process owners, analyzing performance data, and embedding automation into service models. The role requires expertise in Lean Six Sigma, process mining tools such as Celonis, automation tools like UiPath, and knowledge of AI use cases in HR. A strong track record in change management, digital transformation, and working with data science teams is essential. The manager acts as a process consultant, promoting a culture of innovation and digital agility within HR operations, ensuring alignment with Etihadās broader strategic goals.

- Lead and standardize HR processes, embedding automation and AI solutions
- Define and govern the HR process framework to enable structured ownership and accountability
- Deploy optimized digital processes to meet service expectations and enhance user experience
- Advise process owners on performance and co-develop optimization plans
- Ensure process designs align with compliance, controls, and policies
- Identify process excellence opportunities via internal and external analysis
- Partner with Data & Analytics to embed data standards and link process changes with reporting
- Collaborate with PDT team to co-create digital solutions for HR efficiency
- Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to ensure value realization and ROI
- Promote continuous improvement, AI, and automation culture within HR
- Serve as process consultant for Level 4 design and guide maturity advancement
- Ensure integration of HR processes with corporate processes for a unified employee experience
- Lead change initiatives ensuring scalability and long-term adoption of solutions
Experience & skills
- 7ā10 years of work experience, with 3ā5 years in Process Excellence or Business Transformation
- 2ā3 years of experience in AI adoption or automation initiatives such as RPA and ML
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional improvement projects
- Demonstrated capability in digital transformation and change management
- Strong experience using data analytics and AI to improve processes
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Experience with process mining and automation tools like Celonis and UiPath
- Knowledge of AI use cases in Human Resources
- Experience collaborating with IT and Data Science teams on solution implementation
