Job description
GEMS Founders School Nad Al Hamar recently opened as the newest addition to the established Founders family, building on ten years of brand history while starting completely from scratch in this Dubai community. Founding teachers here shape the culture, curriculum and early identity of the school rather than stepping into something already set. You'll teach across the primary phase, following the National Curriculum for England, in a school that currently spans FS1 to Year 8 and will grow year on year toward a full FS1 to Year 13 offering. Spacious classrooms, dedicated STEAM labs, art and music rooms and purpose built outdoor space give you room to bring lessons to life beyond the standard classroom setup. Arabic, Islamic Studies and UAE Social Studies sit alongside the core curriculum, reflecting the emphasis GEMS places on cultural understanding for every pupil. Newly qualified and experienced teachers are both welcome, provided they bring genuine enthusiasm for working with younger learners and a willingness to keep developing their own practice. Strong knowledge of teaching, assessment and differentiation strategies matters here, since the goal is helping every student progress and reach their full potential. Being part of GEMS Education also means access to CPD programmes, mentorship for early career teachers and a clear route for progression within one of the region's largest school groups. Living and working in Dubai adds another dimension, with a lifestyle that balances the demands of the classroom with plenty to do outside it.
