Job description
The Health Representative – Oncology at Pfizer in Riyadh is responsible for maximizing Pfizer brand growth through promotional activities and acting as a territory owner within a defined geography. The role focuses on promoting Pfizer oncology products to designated healthcare professionals, implementing value-added programs, and enabling business growth through effective territory planning and execution. Responsibilities include visiting physicians to promote Pfizer products, conducting marketing activities and distributing approved medical literature to HCPs, reporting visits and activities through approved systems, and building strong customer relationships with key opinion leaders and selected physicians. The role involves capturing, maintaining, and sharing accurate customer knowledge using agreed processes such as VCC, RTEs, and face-to-face visits. The Health Representative diagnoses territory market drivers, develops and executes territory business plans, organizes promotional demonstrations, AV activities, seminars, exhibitions, and community awareness programs, and contributes market intelligence by providing feedback on competitor activity and local market issues. The position operates in full compliance with Pfizer’s SOPs, values, ethics, and on-premise work requirements, while also emphasizing continuous self-development through individualized development plans.

Key responsibilities
- Promote Pfizer oncology products to designated healthcare professionals to achieve territory plan objectives
- Implement value-added programs across the assigned territory
- Visit physicians to conduct medical detailing and product promotion activities
- Provide approved medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals
- Report field visits and activities accurately using approved reporting systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with target customers including KOLs and selected physicians
- Capture and share accurate and timely customer knowledge using VCC, RTEs, and face-to-face engagement processes
- Segment and target high-potential customers within the assigned geography
- Diagnose territory market drivers and develop and execute territory business plans
- Organize and participate in seminars, exhibitions, promotional demonstrations, AV activities, and community awareness programs
- Prepare plans of action, reports, and presentations according to management recommendations and market needs
- Provide market intelligence and feedback on competitor activities and local issues to managers and cross-functional teams
- Ensure territory administrative systems and records are accurately maintained and updated
- Work in full compliance with company SOPs and Pfizer values
- Proactively implement personal development plans and undertake additional assignments as agreed with line management
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor Degree in Pharma
- Demonstrate experience as a Medical Representative, preferably within a multinational organization
- Possess experience in the Oncology therapeutic area, which is considered a plus
- Demonstrate good command of the English language including speaking, writing, listening, and pronunciation
- Demonstrate alignment with Pfizer values and core competencies including change agility, accountability, decisiveness, collaboration, and continuous self-development
