The AI Software Engineer Consultant role within EY's Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) practice involves designing, building, and operationalizing scalable AI solutions, with a specific focus on AI Engineering and Generative AI (GenAI). Responsibilities include working on MLOps pipelines, deploying AI models on cloud-native platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP, and integrating large language models (LLMs) using tools like LangChain, HuggingFace, and OpenAI APIs. The role requires deep involvement in developing AI use-cases like document summarization, chatbots, intelligent assistants, and code generation. The consultant will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to align AI initiatives with strategic goals and ensure measurable business impact. Additionally, the position supports go-to-market activities, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, monitors performance against budget, and involves remote engagement with clients across MENA, with potential travel requirements. Familiarity with responsible AI, ethical frameworks, and domain-specific applications across Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, and Telecom is expected. Based in Dubai, with ties to centers of excellence in Jordan and Egypt, the role supports regional AI engagements and contributes to the development of emerging technology strategy within EY.
