Job description
Wipro Limited seeks enthusiastic fresh graduates to join its engineering team as Design Engineer L1, offering structured training, mentorship, and career development while contributing to real engineering projects. The role assists in reviewing and updating engineering documents, drawings, and technical data; supports drafting teams in organizing markups, native files, and metadata for uploads; helps maintain project trackers, reports, and technical logs; coordinates with cross-functional teams for document control and data accuracy; participates in internal meetings, training sessions, and quality reviews; and ensures adherence to company standards, Saudi Aramco standards, and client requirements within a collaborative, inclusive environment across Al Khobar/Khobar/Riyadh.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and updating engineering documents, drawings, and technical data in line with company and client standards.
- Support drafting teams by organizing markups, native CAD files, and metadata for accurate and timely uploads.
- Maintain project trackers, reports, and technical logs to ensure current and accurate project records.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to uphold document control processes and data accuracy.
- Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and quality reviews to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, Saudi Aramco standards, and specific client requirements throughout deliverables.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, or related discipline).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with MicroStation or similar CAD tools (training provided if needed).
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical engineering environment.
- Ability to work effectively within teams and communicate in a professional setting.
