Job description
Retail Banking Officer - Multiproducts role within Emirates NBD Retail Banking Services (RBS) MPT sales channels (Cards & Personal Loans) in the United Arab Emirates, catering to Credit Card, Personal Finance, and Bank Account requirements of existing and prospective Emirates NBD customers within the UAE. Core responsibility is to sell and increase the bank’s market share of Credit Card, Personal Finance, and account base in line with the bank’s overall business strategy, including bringing new companies to the bank’s approved list of employers and building on these relationships to increase penetration of the bank’s retail banking products. Role also focuses on cross-selling other retail banking products when required to increase sales of other bank products, positively affecting overall sales, revenue, and profitability. Duties include sales of credit cards, personal finance, and bank accounts; cross-selling; acting professionally on behalf of the bank to provide details of products, services, and related processes to customers; adhering to bank service standards to ensure best-in-class customer service and experience; following laid down bank policies and procedures; and reporting/maintaining customer feedback, market pulse, and other required data points or processes. Experience references include banking/retail sales, international/GCC and UAE exposure, and selling/marketing skills. Knowledge includes basic knowledge of operating systems and selling/marketing skills. Education includes graduate or high school plus 2 years’ experience and MBA/BBA. Driving license is mandatory.

Key responsibilities
- Sell Credit Card, Personal Finance, and Bank Account products to existing and prospective Emirates NBD customers within the UAE to increase market share and grow the bank’s account base in line with overall business strategy
- Cross-sell other retail banking products when required to increase overall product sales, revenue, and profitability
- Bring new companies onto the bank’s approved list of employers and build employer relationships to increase penetration of retail banking products
- Act professionally on behalf of the bank by providing customers with details of bank products, services, and related processes
- Adhere to bank service standards to deliver best-in-class customer service and customer experience
- Follow the bank’s laid down policies and procedures during sales and servicing activities
- Report and maintain customer feedback, market pulse, and other required data points or processes as required by the unit and bank
Experience & skills
- Have experience in banking or retail sales with exposure to international, GCC, and UAE markets as referenced
- Be able to sell Credit Card, Personal Finance, and Bank Account products and execute cross-selling of other retail banking products when required
- Have selling and marketing skills and basic knowledge of operating systems
- Be able to act professionally on behalf of the bank and adhere to bank service standards to ensure strong customer service and experience
- Be able to follow bank policies and procedures and maintain/report customer feedback, market pulse, and required unit/bank data points
- Hold education as Graduate or High school plus 2 years’ experience with MBA or BBA referenced
- Hold a valid driving license as it is mandatory for the position
