Job description
The Compliance Officer at Conares is responsible for ensuring the organization adheres to legal standards and internal policies while promoting a culture of compliance and ethical behavior. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures, conducting internal audits and assessments, monitoring changes in regulations and best practices, providing training and guidance to employees, investigating compliance incidents, coordinating with management and legal teams, and preparing compliance reports for management and regulatory agencies. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency with compliance and auditing software, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence
- Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to evaluate compliance effectiveness
- Monitor changes in regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related topics
- Investigate compliance incidents and coordinate with management to develop action plans
- Work with legal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory agencies as needed
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
