Job description
Botanica, part of the Red Sea Global group, runs a nursery operation spanning over 1 million square meters and has cultivated more than 5 million plants since 2020 for The Red Sea and Amaala destinations. Leadership of landscape maintenance across those destinations sits with this Senior Manager, who directs Landscape Managers, Supervisors, technical teams and the field workforce. Softscape, horticulture, irrigation, plant health, fertilization, pest and disease control, pruning and planting all fall under your oversight, along with the annual maintenance plans and work programs behind them. Water efficiency carries particular weight given the setting. On the commercial side, you manage operational budgets, forecasts and cost control, review proposals, scopes of work and BOQs, and handle POs, invoices and contractor performance with Procurement and Finance. KPIs covering landscape quality, productivity, plant health, manpower utilization and cost are set and tracked through regular site reviews and performance dashboards. New projects need mobilizing too, which means getting manpower, equipment, materials and logistics ready for operations. Strict HSE, environmental and quality compliance applies throughout. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, Horticulture or a related field and 12 to 15 years of landscape maintenance or horticultural experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role, ideally in luxury hospitality, resorts or major developments.
