The position involves conducting credit risk assessments for Banks, Countries, NBFCs, MDBs, GFIs, Insurance Firms, Leasing Companies, MNCs, and Sovereign Wealth Funds across the MENAT region. The role includes preparing credit reviews for renewals, enhancements, new-to-bank proposals, and amendments while performing internal risk ratings using financial analysis and qualitative judgment. Responsibilities include monitoring excesses, past dues, collateral shortfalls, covenants, and concentration limits, identifying early warning signs, managing stressed exposures, and supporting Watchlist, staging, and IFRS9/ECL processes. The role requires delivering Risk MIS for regulatory submissions, audits, and Board/Management reporting, as well as updating and maintaining credit policies, SOPs, Charters, and Risk Frameworks across multiple regulatory jurisdictions. The position involves leading or supporting risk automation and process-improvement initiatives and working in a senior role with exposure to Board reporting, policy formulation, and automation initiatives. The candidate must possess deep credit analysis expertise, strong financial statement analysis capability, understanding of banking products, and experience with systems such as Finacle, Kepler, CRISIL ICON, Bloomberg, and external rating data. The role provides regional exposure, decision-making impact, involvement in modernization of risk processes, and opportunity to shape credit policies and risk frameworks within a professional, high-performance environment.
