Job description
Al-Futtaim Group, through its IKEA retail operations in the UAE, is seeking a Regional Fulfilment & Availability Manager to be based at IKEA RSO Jebel Ali, Dubai. This role is responsible for securing fulfilment across the market from an end-to-end perspective, ensuring customer availability goals are met at the lowest cost while enabling excellent execution quality. The position requires overseeing the entire fulfilment support organisation, managing flow and capacity planning, forecasting, ordering, range and supply administration, customer order management, stock quality, reverse flow, and continuous improvement. The manager is accountable for seamless daily operations, efficient distribution networks, optimal range location in fulfilment units, and maintaining lead time promises to exceed customer expectations. This role includes translating commercial priorities into fulfilment actions, planning for campaigns and emergencies, and ensuring logistics considerations are integrated into the commercial calendar. Responsibilities extend to cooperation with key partners including Regional Supply Teams, IoS, and Transport Logistics Services, as well as contribution to global initiatives and competence networks. The manager will lead, coach, and develop the fulfilment support team, ensuring an inspiring, diverse, and inclusive environment with strong succession planning and long-term competence building. Candidates should have 4ā6 years of experience in management positions in distribution, retail, logistics, or similar, with proven leadership in large organizations. Experience in retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service is required, along with knowledge of labor laws, third-party relations, and matrix organizational influence. Strong communication, conflict management, coaching, and problem-solving skills are essential.

- Secure fulfilment goals on customer availability for the total offer at lowest cost
- Translate and co-create commercial priorities into customer fulfilment actions
- Manage flow and capacity planning, forecasting, ordering, and customer order management
- Ensure optimal range location in fulfilment units while maintaining availability and lead time promises
- Plan and prepare for campaigns and emergency situations to ensure seamless customer experience
- Represent Customer Fulfilment in the Commercial Team and integrate logistics considerations into the commercial calendar
- Align short-, mid-, and long-term fulfilment capacities to meet customer availability targets at lowest cost
- Collaborate with Regional Supply Teams, IoS, and Transport Logistics Services to optimize operations
- Lead, coach, and develop the fulfilment support organisation, promoting inclusion, competence building, and succession planning
- Drive continuous improvement across fulfilment processes
- Secure compliance with labor laws and manage third-party relationships
- Lead national/market-level projects or processes with successful implementation of strategies and plans
Experience & skills
- 4ā6 years of experience in a management position, preferably in distribution, retail, logistics, or similar
- Proven leadership experience in a large organization with both business results and people development
- Experience in retail, home furnishing, supply chain, or customer service
- Experience as a management team member with ability to positively influence business outcomes
- Knowledge of labor laws and experience managing third-party relations (e.g., unions, service providers)
- Experience implementing mid- and long-term strategies and setting/following up on goals
- Ability to influence effectively within a matrix organization
- Experience leading projects or processes on country/market/national level
- Strong communication, conflict management, coaching, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
