Qiddiya Investment Company Senior Director – Development (Mixed-use) role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (on-site) leading the development of transformative mixed-use projects within the Qiddiya destination, integrating residential, commercial, and recreational components to position Qiddiya as a model for vibrant, sustainable communities. The role oversees development of a range of mixed-use projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s vision and stakeholder needs, and collaborates with urban planners, architects, and internal teams to create spaces that foster community and elevate the visitor experience. Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive mixed-use development strategies reflecting Qiddiya’s overarching goals and vision; leading and managing all aspects of mixed-use project development including feasibility studies, design, planning, and execution; conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competition in the mixed-use sector; managing project budgets and timelines to deliver on schedule and within budget constraints; engaging stakeholders including government agencies, developers, and community representatives to foster collaboration; incorporating sustainable practices and innovative design solutions into developments; regularly reporting project progress, challenges, and solutions to executive leadership and key stakeholders; and championing a culture of excellence, creativity, and teamwork. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Architecture, or related field, 12–15 years of experience in mixed-use development or related sectors, proven experience leading large-scale development projects with complex requirements, strong understanding of real estate markets, financial analysis, and project management techniques, and stakeholder relationship-building capabilities. Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Architecture, or a related field
- Bring a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in mixed-use development or related sectors
- Demonstrate proven experience leading large-scale development projects with complex requirements
- Demonstrate strong understanding of real estate markets, financial analysis, and project management techniques
- Manage feasibility studies, design, planning, and execution across mixed-use project lifecycles from inception to completion
- Conduct market research to identify mixed-use trends, opportunities, and competition and translate findings into development strategy
- Manage project budgets and timelines to deliver on schedule and within budget constraints
