The Business Lead, Bpay (Fiat Wallet) at Binance is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end proposition, growth, and execution of Binance’s fiat wallet and payments services. Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a full-time remote work arrangement, the role focuses on designing and developing the fiat wallet proposition, including everyday payments use cases and capabilities driven by user demand. The position requires conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape within the payments industry, leveraging analytics to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities. The Business Lead develops and executes comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new payment products, features, and initiatives, coordinating closely with marketing, sales, and business development teams to ensure effective execution and drive user adoption. The role is responsible for business development initiatives that drive Retail, High Net Worth Individual (HNWI), and Corporate/Institutional volumes and balances via the fiat wallet, creating new revenue streams through collaboration with internal stakeholders and external users. Partner development is a core focus, involving managing and expanding relationships with banks, credit and financial institutions, and payment service providers to enhance the global payments network, achieve competitive pricing, and ensure worldwide coverage of global and local pay-in and pay-out methods. The role establishes and owns key performance indicators to measure success, monitors performance through data analysis, identifies trends and issues, and executes continuous improvement opportunities. Additionally, the Business Lead enhances payment operations efficiency, scalability, and reliability by streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving user experience. Regulatory compliance responsibilities include working closely with regulatory colleagues to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards governing payments. The role also includes leading and motivating a team of payment operations professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support, while collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Business, Growth/Marketing, Communications, and Finance teams to achieve strategic and operational results within Binance’s global blockchain ecosystem.
