Job description
"The Team Leader – MEP is responsible for leading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering activities across construction projects in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The role includes overseeing MEP design, installation, and commissioning, coordinating with project teams, supervising on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, managing resources and schedules, preparing technical documentation, and liaising with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution. The leader is expected to enforce regulatory compliance and maintain high standards of technical and operational excellence across all MEP disciplines.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise MEP engineering teams across project sites
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Coordinate with project management and other disciplines to ensure seamless execution
- Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with project plans, safety, and quality standards
- Manage resources, schedules, and technical workflows for MEP operations
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders for timely procurement and installation
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements
- Identify and resolve technical issues and operational challenges
Experience & skills
- Proven experience in leading MEP teams in construction projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Experience with project management and on-site supervision
- Familiarity with construction safety and quality standards
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and vendors
- Technical documentation and reporting skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
