Job description
Talabat is seeking a Sr. Manager - Advertising Sales to lead the regional advertising strategy and execution across its food delivery business. The role will focus on accelerating advertising revenue by overseeing advertising product performance, partnering with Sales and Product teams, and delivering on ambitious growth goals through CPC, display, and conversion-driven ad products. The successful candidate will drive sales enablement strategies, shape product roadmaps, and lead a team of 3ā4 program managers in collaboration with multiple global and local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver Talabatās advertising revenue goals across annual, quarterly, and monthly periods.
- Lead a team of 3ā4 Program Managers while aligning stakeholders across 8 markets and global/local Product teams.
- Shape and implement strategies to drive upsell, cross-sell, and retention for restaurant partners.
- Drive core inputs such as product penetration, sales enablement, and scaling long-term commitments.
- Collaborate with Product teams to influence roadmaps and feature development.
- Become an expert on Talabatās advertising suite and tailor solutions based on partner needs.
- Identify strategic initiatives to accelerate growth and performance in the ad ecosystem.
- Work cross-functionally to remove roadblocks and deliver fast, impactful solutions.
- Utilize data and metrics to draw insights and inform decision-making.
Experience & skills
- 10+ years of total work experience, with at least 5+ years in Advertising Sales within e-commerce.
- 5+ years of experience in leading direct teams.
- Bachelorās degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising formats and campaign measurement (CPC, Display, DSP, etc.).
- Proven experience in using analytics to inform and drive commercial sales strategy.
- Experience working with Product teams to shape features and roadmaps.
- Track record of working with C-level stakeholders to form strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to align cross-functional teams.
