Job description
DP World is seeking a Corporate Finance and Business Development Manager to support investment initiatives and M&A activities across sectors such as ports, logistics, free zones, and digital platforms. The role includes analyzing new opportunities, building financial models, supporting deal structuring, and contributing to the group’s long-term strategic planning. This position works with cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure commercial viability and strategic alignment of new ventures. Based in Dubai, this opportunity is ideal for finance professionals looking to make an impact in the global supply chain industry.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Support M&A, investment, and business development initiatives across GCC, Levant, and Iraq.
- Develop and manage detailed financial models and projections for acquisitions and greenfield investments.
- Prepare high-quality presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies for new project initiatives.
- Assist in end-to-end transaction processes including valuation, SPA/SHA terms, due diligence, and integration.
- Engage with external advisors, banks, lawyers, and JV partners during deal execution.
- Evaluate capital expenditure projects using financial KPIs such as NPV, IRR, ROI, and payback period.
- Initiate and support pre- and post-investment reviews for various projects and assets.
- Contribute to strategic business planning by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure all financial recommendations are aligned with DP World’s CFBD policy.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, strategy, or consulting in a multinational or similar environment.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and business evaluation.
- Understanding of M&A transactions, investment processes, and commercial feasibility.
- Experience working across functions with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ports, logistics, economic zones, and technology investments is an advantage.
