Job description
Six weeks on, three weeks off defines the working rhythm here once the role moves from an Abu Dhabi office base out to the Offshore Site for KBR's Offshore Water Injection Project. This is a Project Management Consultancy role, sitting inside KBR's PMC team for the ADNOC project, and it covers the full engineering, procurement, construction, offshore installation, commissioning, and start up lifecycle. You provide HSE leadership and technical expertise throughout that lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and project specific HSE objectives at every phase. Safety culture sits at the heart of the position, since incident prevention, project risk management, and safe execution of offshore activities all depend on how well that culture takes hold. HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments, JHAs, JSAs, and Environmental Impact Assessments all get facilitated, with project risks identified, documented, assessed, and mitigated throughout. Construction and offshore installation work covers lifting operations, rigging, working at height, confined space entry, hot work, marine operations, diving, and pipeline and subsea installation, each one monitored through worksite inspections and field audits. Contractor HSE plans get evaluated and monitored, with prequalification, performance assessments, and audits keeping contractor safety statistics and corrective actions on track. Incident investigations run across near misses, first aid cases, medical treatment cases, lost time injuries, and environmental incidents, with root causes identified and lessons learned reported. TRIR, LTIF, and other HSE performance indicators get monitored and reported regularly, feeding into daily, weekly, and monthly reports presented to project and senior management.
