Job description
Fuse is building a fully integrated energy company spanning solar, wind, hydrogen, power trading, and distributed energy installations, selling directly to energy consumers to cut out the middleman and reduce costs. The company is also building the Energy Network, a decentralized network of smart devices where users earn Energy Dollars for electrifying homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours, and helping balance the gridāsupporting grid stability essential for AI data centers and energy-intensive industries. Backed by $90M from investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group, and strategic angels (e.g., Nico Rosberg, co-founder of Solana, and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber), Fuse seeks a Head of Engineering (Expansion) to lead the technical strategy and execution for launching the app into new international markets. The role is strategic and hands-on: extend core systems to new geographies, regulatory frameworks, and grid architectures without compromising performance, reliability, or speed of innovation; build integrations with local grid operators, regulators, and third-party providers; architect scalable systems that flex for diverse market conditions (tariffs, billing schemes, compliance); establish processes that balance core product velocity with expansion requirements; and lead a team delivering market-specific features and integrations so customers get a consistent experience globally.
