Job description
Productivity, recoverability, fee income and client service all feature in how this External Audit Manager is measured at Grant Thornton UAE in Dubai, a role open to UAE Nationals. With the Audit Partner, you set audit objectives and scope, then take charge of planning, resourcing and timetables. Audit reviews, team briefings including specialists, and budget monitoring all run through you. A key client portfolio sits under your management, and Senior Associates and Associates report to you on specific assignments. Work papers need proper review and audit files completed, filed and maintained on time. Concerns on any engagement go back to the Partner, balancing risk against commercial return. Developing people is a real priority, through coaching, feedback and helping the office grow. Expect to bring at least five years of External Audit experience in a top international firm, an ACA, CPA or ACCA, and a strong grasp of key reporting standards.
