Job description
Export trade finance at Mashreq in the UAE runs through this AVP, who manages exports and related sub-products end to end for CIBG, RBG and IBG segments. Commercial customers and the Product Development Team come to you for advice on export finance, export payments, document checking, LC advising, confirmation and transfer, collections and risk participation. Processing follows SOPs, OPMs, UCP and ISBP, with SLAs and charges recovery kept on track. High-value transactions, priority customers and back-to-back or red clause LCs get extra due diligence. Sanctions checks and Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) screening are applied to parties in documents, and commodity trade documents are handled with care. Nostro and internal account reconciliations are cleared daily, and audit observations are closed promptly. Customer complaints, operational errors and RCSA findings drive corrective action and changes to SOP, OPM and ADM. Daily team huddles, cross-skilling in at least two more products and automation projects keep the team sharp. Expect to bring 15 to 18 years in trade finance, CDCS, CITF or CTFP certification, strong SWIFT knowledge and a degree.
