Job description
Tamara, Saudi Arabiaās first fintech unicorn building a customer-centric financial super-app, seeks an IT Manager to lead IT operations across KSA offices from its Riyadh headquarters. The role is hands-on and covers network, servers, endpoints, AV systems, VPNs, and both on-prem and cloud environments; maintaining accurate IT infrastructure documentation and asset inventory; managing and mentoring the local helpdesk team and personally handling L3/escalated tickets; ensuring rapid resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues; owning onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and user lifecycle management; enforcing cybersecurity best practices in coordination with internal security teams; ensuring 100% compliance with SAMAās CSF, BCM, CCRF, and Outsourcing Regulations; supporting audits with IT documentation and reports; driving implementation of new IT tools, office infrastructure, and system upgrades; liaising with vendors for procurement, cabling, and support contracts; delivering projects on time and within budget with clear stakeholder communication; acting as the single point of contact for all IT-related matters in KSA; managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and monitoring SLAs; and collaborating closely with business units, finance, security, and compliance teams. Technical stack and tools include SaaS tools, MDM, SSO, VPNs, JumpCloud, Azure AD, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, FortiClient, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Freshservice, Snipe-IT, and basic automation using PowerShell or Bash. Preferred certifications include ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified, CISSP, and PMP, with deep familiarity with SAMA regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities
- Lead all IT operations in KSA, covering network, servers, endpoints, AV systems, VPNs, and associated on-prem and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability and performance of internal IT systems and maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure and asset inventory.
- Manage and mentor the local helpdesk team and personally handle L3/escalated tickets to ensure rapid issue resolution.
- Own onboarding/offboarding processes, access provisioning, and user lifecycle management across tools and directories.
- Enforce cybersecurity best practices, coordinate with internal security teams, and ensure 100% compliance with SAMA CSF, BCM, CCRF, and Outsourcing Regulations.
- Support audits by preparing IT documentation and reports aligned with regulatory and internal standards.
- Drive implementation of new IT tools, office infrastructure projects, and system upgrades, delivering on time and within budget.
- Liaise with vendors for procurement, cabling, and support contracts; manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor SLAs.
- Validate received hardware, manage asset records, and maintain accurate event and process logs.
- Act as the single point of contact for all IT-related matters in KSA and collaborate with business units, finance, security, and compliance teams.
Experience & skills
- Holds a Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in IT support, infrastructure, and operations with proven team leadership and mentoring.
- Certifications preferred: ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified, CISSP, PMP.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, SaaS tools, MDM, SSO, and VPNs with hands-on cybersecurity and incident response experience.
- Deep familiarity with SAMA regulatory frameworks (CSF, BCM, CCRF, Outsourcing Regulations) and ability to ensure compliance.
- Fluent Arabic speaker with clear English communication skills; able to own, diagnose, and resolve complex IT issues independently.
- Administration experience with JumpCloud, Azure AD, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, FortiClient, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Freshservice, and Snipe-IT.
- Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Bash and to deliver projects with clear stakeholder communication.
