Job description
The Senior Manager – Marketing and Sales role within the Sports and Entertainment division is responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing and sales strategies to position the destination as a premier sports and entertainment asset. The role drives revenue growth, footfall, brand visibility, and partnership opportunities in alignment with the destination’s strategic objectives. The position oversees brand positioning, tone, and visual identity across all channels, manages 360-degree marketing campaigns spanning ATL, BTL, and digital platforms, and leads business development initiatives to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations. The role applies data-driven insights through customer segmentation, visitation trends, and sales analytics to guide targeted marketing and sales efforts, while also supervising content production, optimizing the digital ecosystem, managing CRM-driven personalized marketing, coordinating major events and seasonal campaigns, and ensuring effective budget management and KPI performance reporting.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans aligned with destination growth targets
- Manage and evolve brand positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity across all marketing channels
- Oversee execution of integrated 360-degree marketing campaigns including ATL, BTL, and digital
- Lead business development efforts to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic collaborations
- Analyze customer segmentation, visitation trends, and sales performance to guide targeted initiatives
- Supervise production of marketing content including photography, video, copywriting, and branded assets
- Optimize the destination’s digital ecosystem including website, booking engine, and social media platforms
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, grand openings, and major events with cross-functional departments
- Establish, monitor, and report on marketing and sales KPIs and performance metrics
- Build and manage relationships with agencies, PR firms, influencers, and digital partners
- Oversee CRM database usage and delivery of personalized marketing and email campaigns
- Manage group and corporate sales initiatives including proposals and presentations
- Represent the destination at trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings as required
- Prepare, manage, and control the marketing and sales budget to ensure cost-effective execution
- Contribute to departmental strategy, objectives, KPIs, and annual operational planning
- Support staffing, development, deployment, and performance management of marketing and sales teams
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Demonstrate experience within leisure, tourism, sports, or entertainment sectors
- Exhibit strong commercial acumen with familiarity across digital and traditional media
- Demonstrate expertise in integrated marketing strategy development
- Show advanced capability in sales strategy, conversion optimization, and partnership development
- Demonstrate experience managing budgets, KPIs, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination
