The Senior AI Engineer role within talabat’s GenAI Squad is responsible for advancing the intelligence of the company’s on-demand delivery platform by improving decision-making across product and business functions through relevant, reliable, and actionable data. The role owns an end-to-end data and AI domain, spanning logging, data modeling, analysis, reporting, experimentation, and production deployment of machine learning and generative AI systems. The position focuses on leveraging Generative AI for data enrichment, smart content understanding, automated decision-making, and enhanced user experiences. The role designs, implements, and maintains scalable ML and GenAI solutions, collaborates closely with product managers and business stakeholders, develops deep understanding of product data and business processes, contributes to data model design, delivers actionable insights through automated reporting, and drives experimentation using A/B and multivariate testing. The role also mentors other data scientists, contributes to internal tooling and training programs, and operates within an online consumer product environment, leveraging cloud and big data technologies.
