Job description
The Senior Manager – Total Rewards is responsible for designing and managing a comprehensive rewards strategy that aligns with DHEC’s business objectives and financial sustainability. The role ensures competitive compensation structures that maintain internal equity and comply with UAE labor laws and regulatory requirements, while supporting annual compensation cycles including salary reviews and pay-for-performance frameworks. The position oversees benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, leave benefits, and wellness initiatives, driving enhancements based on market trends and employee insights, ensuring cost-effective vendor management, and integrating total rewards with performance management to reinforce desired behaviours. Responsibilities include developing incentive programs, bonus schemes, and recognition initiatives aligned with business goals, conducting market studies and benchmarking exercises, providing leadership with insights on compensation trends and pay equity, drafting and updating policies and governance frameworks, communicating total rewards programs to leaders and employees, managing the total rewards budget, and providing forecasting, scenario modelling, and reporting to Human Capital and Finance leadership.

- Conduct market studies, salary surveys, and benchmarking exercises for competitive positioning
- Provide advisory insights to leadership on compensation trends, pay equity, and emerging practices
- Draft, update, and govern total rewards policies, guidelines, and governance frameworks
- Communicate total rewards programs clearly to leaders and employees
- Manage the total rewards budget and ensure alignment with financial sustainability
- Provide forecasting, scenario modelling, and reporting to Human Capital and Finance leadership
