Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role is critical in leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of strategic, bank-wide initiatives that align with our long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle—from ideation and initiation through execution, closure, and post-implementation review.
- Define clear, measurable project objectives that directly support organizational strategy.
- Drive compliance with EPMO standards, governance, and audit requirements, maintaining accurate project records and documentation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by conducting regular updates, progress reports, and steering committee reviews.
- Plan, lead, and monitor project teams to deliver on scope, quality, cost, and timelines.
- Conduct feasibility studies, vendor evaluations (RFI/RFP), and risk assessments to support solution/vendor selection.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure deliverables meet specifications.
- Oversee resource allocation, contracts, budgets, and financial tracking to ensure efficient project execution.
- Implement quality assurance, governance, and change control processes for risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Capture lessons learned and conduct post-implementation reviews to measure value delivery and enable continuous improvement.
Experience & skills
- 12–15 years of total experience, with at least 8–10 years in project management, preferably within Banking / Financial Services IT.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial services systems and interfaces.
- Strong expertise in project and program management methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio, and PPM tools (MS EPM, Clarity, Jira).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk management and process improvement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business (Master’s preferred).
- Project Management Certifications – PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP etc.
