Job description

The Quantity Surveyor (Mid-Level, 5 years’ experience) specializes in landscaping and swimming pool projects in the UAE, conducting site surveys and measurements, preparing detailed cost and damage assessment reports, and producing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents specific to landscaping and pool works. The role requests, evaluates, and compares quotations, samples, proforma invoices, and tax invoices from suppliers and subcontractors in line with project specifications; assists procurement with budgeting, cost forecasting, and project-wise procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors; evaluates subcontractor claims and variations and prepares cost reports to maintain budgetary control; supports finance with profitability and cost analysis for landscaping and pool projects; and ensures compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and project timelines. Duties also include coordinating across multiple concurrent projects, understanding authority approvals and requirements, interpreting detailed drawings for both landscaping and pools, and performing other tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager or Senior Management, with strong document control and reporting discipline.
