Job description
In this role you will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities at Wood, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards for a high-profile client, generally on projects with a value above USD 500 million. You will assure the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget, using in-house construction management procedures to provide continuity and consistency with quality assurance. You are responsible for overseeing the total construction field effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, specifications, budgets, and schedules. Your responsibilities include managing and executing multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction projects in accordance with contract requirements and company operating policies. You will manage and control project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines, and you are responsible for the management of installation, commissioning, and completion activities of materials and equipment. You will coordinate field personnel work schedules to maximize utilization and ensure work is delivered on schedule, monitoring work progress and reporting against the plan. You are responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities are defined and communicated to workers, and initiating safety, quality, and environmental processes including toolbox meetings and risk assessments. In this role you will coordinate supply and delivery of equipment, subcontractors, and other project-specific requirements, and work with engineering during design phases to influence the design for optimum constructability.

- Bring at least 5 years of experience on major capital projects exceeding USD 500 million, with a specific focus on Construction Management and Site Management, since this role is expected to operate at that scale
- Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is also highly desired and may be considered in lieu of direct capital project experience, offering flexibility for candidates with strong operational rather than purely project-based backgrounds
