The Director | People Advisory | Business Consulting role sits within the Business Consulting Service Line, which delivers client services across Strategy & Analytics, People Advisory, Procurement Transformation, Finance & Shared Services, and Governance & ESG Advisory. As a People Advisory Director, the role operates as a senior leadership position responsible for developing and expanding HR & People Advisory client offerings, shaping go-to-market strategies, commercial propositions, and strategic plans, and contributing to the overall growth of Business Consulting and Business Advisory Services. The position involves leading business development across the full sales cycle including opportunity identification, qualification, proposal development, statements of work, oral presentations, project approaches, resource models, and pricing estimates. The role requires delivery of complex HR consulting engagements, management of project financial targets, oversight of project delivery timelines, budgets, quality, and rigor, and leadership of consulting teams. The Director is also responsible for cross-selling opportunities across analytics and other consulting pillars, maintaining strong client relationships at all organizational levels, embedding consulting and project delivery lifecycle standards, and supporting internal responsibilities such as recruitment, thought leadership, financial management, performance management, and quality activities, while staying current on industry trends and regional market dynamics within the UAE and broader region.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and support business development activities across the full consulting sales cycle including client relationship building, opportunity creation and qualification, proposal development, statements of work, oral presentations, project approaches, resource models, and pricing estimates
- Develop go-to-market strategies, commercial propositions, offerings, and strategic plans for HR and People Advisory services within Business Consulting
- Deliver HR consulting and people advisory projects by managing scope, budgets, timelines, quality standards, and financial targets
- Lead and manage consulting teams to deliver successful project outcomes aligned with defined KPIs and consulting delivery standards
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders
- Identify and enable cross-selling opportunities across analytics, strategy, finance, procurement transformation, governance, and ESG advisory services
- Develop, train, coach, and mentor consultants while embedding feedback-driven performance and development practices
- Contribute to internal firm activities including recruitment, thought leadership, financial management, performance management, and quality assurance
- Stay current with industry trends, sector developments, and regional market dynamics and embed this knowledge within client delivery and team development
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 10+ years of management consulting experience with at least 3 years at senior manager or director level within a consulting firm
- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering successful HR consulting and people advisory projects across multiple industries
- Exhibit technical consulting capabilities aligned to Strategy, Functional Excellence, Business Transformation, or multiple areas across these pillars
- Show strong understanding of the consulting and project delivery lifecycle and actively embed these methodologies within consulting teams
- Bring industry expertise across multiple sectors with preferred depth in Financial Services and strong understanding of regional UAE market dynamics
