Job description
Habshan 5, part of ADNOC Gas onshore operations, runs on gas compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines, blowers and motors that need constant watching. Supervising the condition monitoring of that rotating equipment is the core of this Reliability Team position. Your team collects data on vibrations, temperature and pressures, oil levels and flows, and steam traps, and you make sure work orders follow wherever readings call for them. Online monitoring systems get a daily review, and post-repair acceptance of equipment depends on the condition monitoring parameters you support. Findings feed weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports, along with recommendations for cost-efficient fixes. An up-to-date condition monitoring database keeps all of this easy to retrieve. Staff training, budget input and variance checks make up the supervisory side. Emergency Response duties also apply as a team member. A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years supervising condition monitoring in a large industrial organisation, ideally Oil and Gas, are required, along with a Vibration Certificate at level 2 or 3.
