Job description
CPHI and BioMed's investor program sits at the center of this role, with success measured against the caliber of investors brought in and the assets under management they represent. Tahaluf runs some of the largest B2B events in the region, from LEAP and Cityscape to Black Hat MEA and CPHI Middle East, and this position focuses on identifying and onboarding globally recognised investors for the pharma and biotech program. You'll research high profile investors both globally and regionally, then maintain contact with them throughout the year through queries, virtual meetings and in person conversations. Every prospective and confirmed investor is logged on a database updated daily, covering tracking and data purposes across the program. As the event approaches, logistics take priority, with flights, accommodation and transport coordinated for Tier 1 investors and confirmed attendees kept informed on badges, apps and venue details. Marketing coordination keeps investor bios and photos current on the website ahead of the event. Conference production liaison covers investor topics that are new and notable, supporting speaker onboarding and helping shape investor forums, talks and panels. Arabic language skills and a genuine interest in the global investment space matter here, alongside computer literacy across Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and basic AI text or image tools. Strong copywriting and people management skills round out what the role demands, and conference production or event management experience helps, though Tahaluf offers training for candidates moving into this career.
