Job description
Qiddiya is seeking a visionary Senior Director – Digital Delivery to lead its digital strategy for project development. The role is responsible for embedding advanced technologies like BIM, Digital Twins, AI analytics, and automation across planning, design, and construction functions. This strategic position ensures Qiddiya remains a pioneer in digital transformation, aligning with Vision 2030 and national innovation goals. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in integrating digital platforms within complex megaprojects, along with deep technical knowledge in project lifecycle optimization, innovation management, and data governance.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute Qiddiya’s digital delivery strategy across project phases
- Lead innovation initiatives using AI, analytics, BIM, and digital platforms
- Align digital delivery with modular construction and DFMA efforts
- Oversee integration and governance of BIM, GIS, and Digital Twin tools
- Coordinate with IT and Procurement for tech acquisition and implementation
- Drive adoption of predictive analytics, automation, and data-driven decisions
- Manage cybersecurity risks related to project delivery platforms
- Design and implement digital training programs for staff and partners
- Benchmark global best practices and apply them to Qiddiya’s scale
- Support cross-functional digital governance and compliance initiatives
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related
- 15–20 years of experience in digital delivery and innovation, with 7+ in leadership
- Certifications in PMP/PgMP required; BIM or Digital Twin desirable
- Strong track record of embedding tech in large-scale construction projects
- Expertise in change management, tech governance, and stakeholder coordination
- Experience working with modular construction, AI, and smart city frameworks
