Job description
The Senior Client Manager – Corporate Risks at Lockton is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of Corporate and SME clients in Abu Dhabi, ensuring high-quality client servicing and seamless placement and administration of insurance programs. The role involves acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day requirements including policy servicing, endorsements, and renewals, and conducting regular meetings to review insurance arrangements and risk exposures. The position includes preparing tailored reports, presentations, and proposals, engaging with insurers and underwriters to negotiate competitive terms, overseeing premium collections and financial reconciliation, supporting SME proposition development, contributing to product innovation and digital servicing initiatives, and assisting in cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. The Senior Client Manager also supports the Sales Team in business closures and client acquisition, ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintains accurate client records, and drives operational efficiency and process improvements within the team.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Corporate and SME clients
- Manage day-to-day client requirements including policy servicing, endorsements, and renewals
- Conduct regular client meetings to review insurance arrangements, risk exposures, and recommend improvements
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and proposals tailored to client needs
- Work closely with insurers and underwriters to negotiate competitive terms for new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
- Ensure placement is aligned with client requirements and company standards
- Maintain strong market relationships to leverage capacity, coverage enhancements, and pricing advantages
- Oversee premium collections and reconciliation to ensure compliance with internal credit control policies
- Coordinate with finance to resolve outstanding premium issues and ensure timely settlement with insurers
- Support the design and implementation of tailored SME insurance solutions
- Contribute to product innovation, digital servicing initiatives, and efficient distribution models for SME clients
- Assist in identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the SME and Corporate segments
- Support the Sales Team in achieving business closures through preparation of proposals, technical inputs, and placement support
- Accompany Sales Team members for client meetings, pitches, and negotiations where required
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and compliance checklists
- Actively contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency within the team
Experience & skills
- Thorough understanding of corporate risks broking in a multinational broker
- Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers, and associates
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Ability to protect confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments
- Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar software applications
