Job description
The Allocation Analyst within Al-Futtaim Retail is responsible for ensuring optimal product allocation and replenishment across retail stores and channels to maximize sales performance, profitability, and inventory productivity within the clothing and accessories category. Operating within a large regional retail organization, the role supports Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Store Operations teams through data-driven allocation decisions, weekly and seasonal replenishment execution, and continuous monitoring of store-level performance. The role involves managing initial allocations for new seasons and product launches, executing weekly allocations based on store cataloguing, capacity, option fulfilment, and inventory levels, and adjusting allocations to improve sell-through and stock health. The Allocation Analyst produces detailed sales and inventory reports, analyzes no-movement stock, supports in-season rebalancing, and ensures accurate system parameters such as min/max levels, reorder points, restricted files, and store clusters are maintained across ERP and allocation systems including Oracle, SAP, JDA, Island Pacific, and PRISM. The role requires strong analytical capability, numerical accuracy, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced fashion retail environment supporting both physical retail and e-commerce channels.

Key responsibilities
- Execute weekly product allocations to stores based on store cataloguing, store capacity, option fulfilment, and inventory levels
- Support initial allocation for new season assortments and new product launches
- Manage replenishment for core and seasonal products to ensure optimal stock availability
- Monitor product performance and adjust allocations to maximize sell-through and inventory productivity
- Analyze store-level inventory metrics including sell-through, stock cover, and overall stock health
- Identify overstocked and understocked stores and propose corrective inventory actions
- Support in-season inventory rebalancing and stock consolidation decisions
- Maintain accurate stock levels to support both retail and e-commerce channels
- Produce weekly sales, inventory, and performance reports by store and product
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support merchandising and planning decisions
- Analyze no-movement stock data at store level and take appropriate corrective action
- Collaborate with Merchandising to understand product strategies and life cycles
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams on stock availability and shipment timelines
- Partner with Store Operations to capture store feedback, needs, and capacity constraints
- Maintain and update allocation system parameters including min/max levels, ROP turn-off, restricted files, and store clusters
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Possess 2–4 years of experience in allocation, planning, replenishment, or inventory management within retail or fashion
- Demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Have hands-on experience with allocation or ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, JDA, Island Pacific, or PRISM
- Demonstrate understanding of store grading, capacity management, and product life cycles
- Exhibit high attention to detail, data accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
