Job description
The Local Tax Consultant role is focused on implementing structured roadmaps for business process analysis, data analysis, diagnosis of gaps, definition of business requirements, functional definitions, and application of best practices while facilitating meetings and contributing to overall project planning. The role requires active contribution to solution building for both the client and the consulting practice and is positioned to handle higher scale and complexity compared to a standard Consultant profile. The role holder is expected to be proactive in client interactions and acts as a primary point of contact for client engagements with limited support from Consulting and Client Partners. Responsibilities include developing, assessing, and validating client business strategies, including industry context, competitive positioning, and strategic direction, and translating these into tailored solutions and services. The role also involves estimating scope and delivery liability for end solutions, identifying opportunities to generate revenue in both existing and new areas, and leading client engagements to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. In addition, the role contributes to proposal creation, presales activities, development of practice policies, procedures, frameworks, reusable methodologies, go-to-market and off-the-shelf solutions, and the creation of reusable intellectual property derived from managed projects.
