Job description
The Events Curator role at OKX supports the planning, coordination, and execution of monthly community events, industry conferences, and brand activations across the MENA region, with a strong focus on crypto, Web3, fintech, and technology communities. The role works closely with internal marketing teams, external agencies, vendors, and community partners to deliver engaging on-ground experiences that strengthen OKX’s brand presence and community connections. Responsibilities span community and event programming, logistics coordination, vendor and agency management, on-site execution, communications, reporting, and budget tracking. The role contributes creative ideas for event concepts, stays closely connected to local crypto and tech communities, and supports post-event analysis including attendance, engagement, and feedback to help optimize future community and brand initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of monthly OKX community events including meetups, workshops, and small-scale activations
- Contribute creative ideas for event concepts and community activations tailored to different audience segments
- Stay informed on local crypto, Web3, fintech, and technology communities, meetups, and forums
- Identify new communities and audience groups for engagement across crypto-native and crypto-curious segments
- Support logistics, timelines, and execution for regional events, conferences, and brand activations
- Assist with venue coordination, vendor sourcing, and on-ground event operations
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure events align with growth and community objectives
- Liaise with event agencies, production vendors, and community partners to ensure smooth delivery
- Track vendor deliverables, timelines, and deadlines
- Support on-site event operations including registration, booth setup, and community engagement
- Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across all event touchpoints
- Coordinate internal and external communications related to events and community initiatives
- Support post-event reporting including attendance metrics, engagement analysis, feedback, and learnings
- Assist in tracking event budgets, invoices, and return on investment
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination, community marketing, or a related role
- Demonstrate experience working with brand-side marketing teams or event agencies
- Show exposure to crypto, Web3, fintech, or technology communities
- Maintain fluency in English
- Demonstrate Arabic language capability as an advantage
- Exhibit strong organizational and coordination skills
- Demonstrate familiarity with project management and reporting tools
- Show comfort working on-site at events and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
