Job description
IFRS 9 staging and ECL review sit at the centre of this AVP, Credit Risk role in FAB's Group Credit Risk team, based at Business Park in Abu Dhabi. The portfolio in scope is CCB and IB, and each month brings standard checks on large movements plus segment and balance sheet summaries of the review results. Past due data is another core thread, consolidated with inputs from credit, CRD and international teams into monthly PDNI reports and analysis. PD data goes to stakeholders for BRF and regulatory reporting, and CRD and NPL cases are kept up to date. Risk Appetite monitoring for the managed portfolio relies on data you compile. Dashboards, credit quality reports and a well-maintained credit risk database support forecasting and decision-making. Process improvement runs alongside, from the annual PDNI policy and SOP review to projects with Business, Credit, Finance and IT. Expect to bring 4 to 5 years of relevant experience with strong analytics and portfolio data management skills.
