Job description
Mamo Business is seeking a Business Development Executive to help expand its reach by taking ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and activation. The role involves developing acquisition strategies, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating deals, and ensuring smooth customer transitions to account management. This position requires strong industry knowledge of payments in the GCC, effective relationship-building with senior decision-makers, and the ability to navigate complex B2B sales cycles.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and generate industry-specific leads.
- Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from outreach to closing deals.
- Conduct consultative product demonstrations, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts.
- Develop acquisition strategies and engage key decision-makers.
- Manage and maintain Sales CRM cleanliness to track KPIs and customer engagement data.
- Work closely on handover plans with account managers to ensure smooth transitions.
- Tailor solutions to customers’ needs using in-depth product knowledge.
- Share customer engagement insights with the product and sales leadership teams.
- Collect and screen documentation from prospective customers with the compliance team.
Experience & skills
- At least two years of experience in payments industry direct sales in the GCC.
- Ability to build trust and navigate complex B2B payments sales cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in senior-level negotiations.
- Familiarity with CRMs like Pipedrive, Hubspot, or Salesforce.
- Persistence, energy, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good understanding of the sales process and ability to drive customer conversations.
